BASIC TRUTH:  God loves me
DO THIS:

 MORNING TIME

When you go into your child's room this month say, "Good morning! Where's my sweet [child's name]? There you are! Mommy/Daddy is here to help you because I love you."

 DRIVE TIME

As you are about to drive off say, "Since God helps us help others, let's look for ways we can help others while we're at the [grocery store]. We can think of ways to help on our way. Let's see, at the [grocery store], someone may need us to smile and let them go first or let them have the closer parking spot. What are others way we can help at the [grocery store]?"

 CUDDLE TIME

Cuddle up with your child this month and pray, "Dear God, I am so thankful You will always be with [child's name]. I pray as he/she grows up that he/she will go to You when he/she needs help. Thank You for the way You love us. I love You, God. In Jesus' name, amen."

 BATH TIME

Tell your child you need him/her to help you. Ask him/her questions like, "Will you help me get your clean clothes? Will you help me run the water? Will you help me get a clean towel? Will you help me by washing your hair, legs, tummy, etc.? Will you help me dry your body off, put on your clothes, brush your hair?" When you are done say, "God helps you help me. You are such a good helper!"
